Children of Grace

Our visit to Maropeng was very interesting. There is a boat ride into the exhibit hall that was a lot of fun. It is basically a trip back in time. There is an ice tunnel, waterfalls and lots of other cool effects. The exhibit hall focused on evolution,(with some naked ape statues), so prepare your kid’s for it. Over all the exhibits were functional and informative. If you plan to visit Maropeng to see dinosaur fossils, don’t waste your time, but  there is a dinosaur exhibit from time to time.  You would have to visit their web site to find out when. The Sterkfontein caves were really a lot of fun. It is quite a tough trip as there are about two hundred steps and some really tight spots. If you have to carry a child it becomes even more difficult.
