Children of Grace

This is a small zoo just off the N4 on Simon Vermooten Road. It is ideal for an outing with the kids. It has enough animals to be interesting and not so many that it becomes boring. It is also situated on a small plot of ground so to get through the whole zoo won’t kill you. The kids are given an opportunity to feed the farm animals in the petting zoo. At the gate each child is given coupons to redeem food for the animals. They are allowed to go into the cages with the rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. There is a large jungle gym and sand pit for the kids to play on and some garden furniture for the parents. There is no coffee shop, but you could buy a few items at the gate. If you want to make an event of it, you could take along a picnic basket.
